Organizer : Korea Post Categories and Themes o Youth category: Family Subject: Express love for family and realize its importance and the joy and happiness family gives us. o General category: Preserve the Polar Regions and Glaciers Subject: Warn about the seriousness of the abnormal climate phenomena message that we must save the Polar region through protection of the glaciers. Eligibility - Youth Category: those 17 years of age and under - General Category: no restrictions Submission guidelines - Number of entries submitted: No limit - Size of design : 15 ㎝ (width) × 20 ㎝ (length) or 20 ㎝ (width) × 15 ㎝(length) - On an A4-sized hardboard, the entry work should be attached on the front and the application form on the back. Entries may be submitted in person or by registered mail. - Only works (including computer graphics) that have not been submitted to other contests shall be accepted and the original copy must be submitted at all times. Works done manually shall be preferred during screening. - There are no restrictions in the range of materials and colors used in the works but three-dimensional works will not be accepted. - The design shall not incorporate postage stamp names (themes, subtitles) or the numbers representing the denomination or year of issue. - Distribution of application forms: available at post offices nationwide (July 5 to September 17, 2010) * Forms can be downloaded from the web page of K-Stamp Portal website(www.koreastamp.go.kr) and Korea Post (www.koreapost.go.kr). - Application period: July 5 to September 17, 2010 * For the overseas part, only those works that arrived by September 30 will be eligible. -Address for entries Postage Stamps & Philately Division KOREA POST 154-1 Seorin-dong Jongno-gu Seoul 110-110, Republic of Korea Screening of entries and announcement of winners -Judges will be named later among experts in fine arts, postage stamps, culture and science. -Screening period: October 2010 -Winning entries shall be announced on the web page and by individual notification on October 22, 2010. * The works for "Guidance Teachers" will be selected in consideration of the participation performance and award-winning performance of concerned school (educational institute). ※ From this year, prizes provided by UPU (Universal Postal Union) will be awarded to the Grand Prize winners and Award of Excellence winners. Other information - Please be advised that the submitted entries shall NOT be returned.
